Hard Drive Installation Guide for Compaq Presario M2000 & HP ze2000 Series laptops.
1. Position the computer with the rear panel toward you.
2. Loosen the two black PM2.0×5.0 screws that secure the hard drive cover to the computer.
3. Lift the right side of the cover and swing it to the left.
4. Remove the hard drive cover.
5. Use the mylar tab on the right side of the hard drive to lift the right side of the hard drive until it disconnects from the computer.
6. Remove the hard drive from the hard drive bay.
7. Remove the four PM2.5×4.0 screws that secure the hard
drive frame to the hard drive.
8. Remove the hard drive frame frame from the hard drive.
9. Slide the hard drive connector toward you and remove it.
Reverse the above procedure to reassemble and install the
hard drive.
